Stop FANUC Now: Rally Against FANUC's Complicity in the Genocide in Gaza
WHEN: Thursday, February 12th, 2026 at 4 pm
WHERE: FANUC HQ3900 W Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI

Rochester Hills, MI — Rochester Hills and Metro Detroit community members will convene at 4 pm on Thursday, February 12th, to rally against FANUC's complicity in the ongoing genocide in Gaza. They will be joining the growing international campaign against FANUC, which began in Japan in 2024. Last year, the UN Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories called out FANUC explicitly for supplying their robots to Israeli defense companies, naming them as a corporation complicit in the Israeli system of genocide and apartheid.

FANUC, whose US headquarters is located in Michigan, continues to fuel Israel's genocide of Palestinians. Michigan communities are deeply concerned with FANUC 's complicity and uplift the demand that FANUC cut ties with Israel. The community is asking FANUC to stop supplying its robots to Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Elbit Systems. The protesters say "No" to tech for genocide and demand that FANUC adopt a more socially responsible business model so that others in the automation industry may follow suit.

With rising concern among the Southeast Michigan community regarding FANUC's business practices and its involvement in international warfare and bloodshed, informing the local public who share space with the headquarters and multiple manufacturing facilities across our area is imperative. We encourage journalistic investigations and local coverage into the FANUC facilities for an informed and empowered public as the campaign to end FANUC complicity in genocide continues.

The local event is organized and endorsed by Engineers Against Apartheid, Detroit Anti-War Committee, Palestinian Youth Movement, U.S. Palestinian Community Network, Code Pink - Detroit, Michigan Coalition Against Genocide, Solidaridad Organizada para la Liberación (SOL) at the University of Michigan, Students Allied for Freedom and Equality (SAFE), Wayne State Students SJP, Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) at the University of Michigan, Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) Detroit, Christians for a Free Palestine Detroit, Huntington Woods Peace Group, Yemeni Liberation Movement, Drop Trump Coalition, Michigan Divest, Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA), Huntington Woods Citizens for Ceasefire, Women International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF US), Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA) at Oakland University, Nakba Survivors Association Michigan (NSAM), Democratic Socialists of America - Detroit (DSA-Detroit), and Moratorium Now Coalition.
